I am a results-oriented, well organized and thoughtful manager or people, projects and things who always remains cognizant of the details while comprehending the big picture. In any environment I always ask, "Is there a better way". Then I employ creative, out of the box thinking to design a solution, implement it, and then measure it.
What can I say? I’m a bit of jack of most trades. I’ve excelled in many of the ventures and projects that I’ve taken on, as well as in the roles that I have assumed as both a business owner, and as an employee of numerous reputable corporations including McKesson, Deloitte, Siemens, Diageo, and the Urban League of Essex County. I have experience in a broad range of industries: Healthcare, Education, Non-Profit, Staffing and HR, Political Advocacy, Events & Entertainment, Children’s Animation. You name it. I’ve even driven a transit bus at one point in my life. I’ve learned over the years that excellence in each of these roles and industries are driven by common thread skill sets; organization, communication (verbal and written), problem solving and analysis, and the ability to relate to and interact effectively with all people. I’ve employed each of these skill sets, which happen to be my strengths to plan, lead, and manage projects which have created value and produced measurable results for clients and customers. Responsible for oversight of community based programs including a middle-school after-school program (in an Assistant Directory capacity), Supplemental Educational Services site (in a Site Coordinator capacity) and a high-school academic and professional success program. Activities included recruitment and retention of program participants, design of participant activities and services, recruitment, training and management of staff, management of participant databases and maintenance of program metrics, representing the programs and the Urban League of Essex County at community events and speaking engagements. In this role, I also interacted daily with program participants in a Youth Developer/Advocate/Mentor capacity. Additionally, I enjoyed the opportunity to design and teach several courses including Business & Entrepreneurship, Video Production, and Technology.
As a Market Manager for Diageo brands I was responsible for creating marketing plans, developing relationships with businesses in our core target, educating core business owners and managers about Diageo products and promotions, driving product sales, forging opportunities for live activations, planning and managing details for all activations within assigned region, recruiting and retaining personnel and administering HR paperwork, and management of promotional inventory. I also assumed a role of Staffing Coordinator where I was responsible for recruitment, retention, education, and coordination of staff in multiple regions.
As an Independent Contractor I aided small to medium sized businesses by creating business and marketing plans, funding and sponsorship proposals, desktop publishing documents and graphics (including logos, flyers, brochures), drafting web and ad copy/content, coordination of events and more.
As an asset to the Development PMO organization at McKessson for the summer, I was responsible for preparing the business unit for a CMMI audit, clean up and management of change request database, go-live planning, and drafting a go-live communication plan for Beta customers of Horizon Enterprise Revenue Management
Responsible for working collaboratively with enterprise healthcare organizations (hospitals and physician practices) to implement Horizon Enterprise Revenue Management. Activities included discovery, design, build and configuration, test coordination, and activation support. In this role I also lead a number of optimization and process improvement projects and administered various workflow assessments and gap analyses. Because this software was development software, I also had the opportunity to participate in cross-functional teams and internal projects which allowed me to assume responsibilities in Development, QA, and Methodology roles. Activities within these functions include technical writing and development of end user training manuals, methodology process design, QA testing, providing advice on product direction, delivery of training both internally as well as to customers and other duties as assigned.

Project activities include configuration of rules and master tables, integrated testing, and activation support for multi-facility providers. Software scope includes patient access/registration, scheduling, and revenue management (charges, worklists, EBEW).

After being inspired to create a cartoon based upon a Jumbo Jet who teaches children about travel and culture, I created the International Passport Agency for Kids to house ventures and initiatives designed to expose, educate, entertain children around the concepts of travel and culture. As the CEO of the International Passport Agency for Kids I am responsible for character design, web design and development, brand development and management, and overall operations management for the character property. As the property owner, I have also successfully facilitated procurement of a trademark, written and published 5 children's picture books (print and eBook), written a script for an animated cartoon series, and served as director for the animated project which is still in process.
